Our Mission

 

    Our mission is very simple but very difficult.  The words are easy to say but making it happen is not so easy.  Many departments are suffering from a shortage of volunteers.  We are proud to say that we have recruited and retained members through innovative programs.  We recognize our most valuable assets are our members.  All members have something to offer and all members are valuable.  We credit our success to our members.  We are a team, all players on our team are important.  This attitude has helped us to live and succeed our mission.

This mission is fulfilled by:

1. Providing leadership, influence, information, and direct action in fire, life safety and emergency medical services.

2. Compliance with all applicable Federal, State and Local standards and laws.

3. Maintaining command and control.

4. Providing educational opportunities for members.

5. Providing proactive, flexible and changing management strategies to fulfill our mission.
